99 plus NFTs are a line of digital artworks soon to be minted on the blockchain. Each collection is based on a single, physical piece of art of the 99plus series, fusing street photography with elements of painting.
The original artwork for the first NFT collection of this line is the artwork 99plus Store. It is the headlining piece of the series and overall line.
Inspired by an ever-changing environment, the resilience and creativity of a hardened society, the artwork 99plus Store itself was created in a time long gone, back then in 2010…More than a decade later it will inevitably evolve further to serve its purpose of creation.
99 creations have been digitally handcrafted through various modes of color manipulation, each based on the original artwork. Divided into 11 clusters, each cluster is a world of its own, consisting of 9 artworks each with different color combinations.
A promise of insatiable abundance looms where things seem scarce. It may be that things are uncovered that have lain dormant in the past.
Each of the 99 creations is a reinterpretation of the original, revealing hidden facets of the artwork through arithmetic methods of color manipulation, such as multiplying swatches of color. The colors of the individual artworks were used as the color basis for the following creations.
Captured from the fluent present, manifested in humble physical form, expanded into multiplicity.
